Late 2020, Victory Athletics was put into contact with an up-and-coming athletic facility and company: 4 Seams. Back in early November, part of the crew flew into La Vista, Nebraska where the job was located. Here, they took dimensions and pictures in order to render a virtual sketch of the plans. Everything was set to go for the install in late January; however–when the crew arrived–there was a bit of a curveball thrown at them. Unfortunately, the original project specifications did not account for the emergency fire exits that were unexpectedly added to the project the week prior to install. Consequently, on-site the crew had to fabricate new custom brackets, as well as bump the cage inwards in some areas for proper accessibility. Nevertheless, this allowed Victory to move forward with the original design: four static batting cages–three of which contained specialized divider curtains. Continuing with the installation–putting the turf down and tightening the nets into place–the team conquered yet another custom-fabricated job, happy to leave the ecstatic customer with an elite facility.
