In mid-December, Victory Athletics began the installation for a new batting facility in Massillon, Ohio. The owner decided to go with two static batting cages with sliding dividers and 60-gauge netting (an upgrade that is more durable to many types of use). They also wished to install turf in the majority of the facility, in addition to rubber flooring at the entrance/bathroom area. Therefore, since the job was conveniently located only about an hour from where Victory is based, the crew drove out daily to complete the installation—which went incredibly smoothly. In the end, the turf and rubber flooring were seamless, and the cage walls tight. The owner—as always ensured—was very satisfied with their new, elite facility.Â
